This individual will serve as the front-line contact for employees with questions regarding employee benefit plans. Additional responsibility will include coordinating worker's compensation cases and employee health plan appeals.
Responding to employee inquiries regarding benefit coverages
Managing communications with MedBen and other benefit vendors
Researching health plan appeals and composing coverage recommendations
Coordinate regular claim's experience meetings with benefit vendors
Evaluate plan performance and make plan design change recommendations as appropriate
Ensuring timely updates of benefit plan documents
Communicating plan changes to employees
Administering the worker's compensation program
Other duties as assigned
LPN licensure required, or equivalent experience in a licensed medical professional role.
Experience working with health insurance claims strongly preferred.
Experience managing a worker's compensation program strongly preferred.
Strong time management skills. Must be able to meet deadlines and keep claims progressing forward.
Excellent communication skills.
