The delivery of quality care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation/re-assessment. The provision of direct and indirect patient care in the critical care setting. Communicates with physicians about changes in patientâ��s clinical condition including hemodynamic monitoring, results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology. Is able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment. Additionally, is able to perform general nursing duties in all departments with adequate supervision. Participates in performance improvement and CQI activities.
Required: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing Preferred: Academic degree in nursing (Bachelors or Masters degree)
Required: Current state Registered Nurse Licensure. ACLS and BLS certification.
Two or more years of recent critical care experience or/successful completion of critical care course preferred. Basic computer knowledge.
