Under the supervision of the DOMM/ADOMM, responsible for the shipping and receiving functions for the hospital.
Follows hospital protocol in all areas of documentation and data entry for receipts of materials.
Deliver, remove and appropriately stores all gas cylinders in accordance with federal state and local regulations.
Utilize hospital vehicle to deliver and pickup supplies following local and state vehicle codes.
Maintains a neat and orderly department, keeping the department secure. Reports unsafe conditions in the department and loading dock immediately to supervisor.
Performs all duties using safe ergonomic and lifting techniques.
Daprtment Specific Duties:
May need to drive a company vehicle during business hours.
Receiving in IMMS all supply and equipment delivered to facility.
Delivers priority packages and envelopes within 24 hours of receipt.
Receive incoming products:
Verify against packing slip that all products are received as ordered.
Update computerized on-line receiving.
Place items in appropriate inventory locations.
Identify special order items by department and place in appropriate bin location for delivery on same day received (if received prior to 3:00 p.m.)
Deliver, remove, and appropriately store all gas cylinders as directed by the policy and procedure manual and as observed directly by the SPD manager.
Keep work areas neat and orderly.

Follow written goals and objectives and review annually with managers.
Seek education and learning experiences in areas of identified growth needs; review progress during annual evaluation.
Actively participate in departmental Quality Assurance and Quality Improvement Programs.
Move and receive supplies to the specified stores storage space on same day basis with a placement accuracy rate of 100 Percent as observed by the SPD manager.
Deliver orders to specific floors on specific days as scheduled, meeting that schedule 100 percent of the time with a fill rate not lower than 95 percent as observed by the SPD manager.
Maintain the warehouse is a neat and orderly fashion by thoroughly cleaning the area on a weekly basis as observed by the SPD manager.
Assist in all other departmental functions as necessary and complete these tasks within department deadlines as observed by the SPD manager.
High School Diploma or GED
A Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) will be completed at time of hire and on an annual basis thereafter.
Basic knowledge of medical and surgical supplies.
Basic math ability
Strong interpersonal skills/Customer Service Skills
Current California driverï¿½s license; a copy of the renewed license will need to be submitted upon renewal. Evidence of current car insurance; a copy of the renewed car insurance will be need to submitted upon renewal
