CRi is seeking a Virginia licensed mental health professional for a full time and benefits eligible Program Director position. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to lead a program that provides critical community based support which served 156 people last year. CRI’s Crisis Stabilization Unit (CARE) serves adults who are experiencing a mental health crisis as well as those in crisis who also need alcohol detox.
The Program Director directs the activities of the recovery based crisis stabilization program to include, individual, family and group counseling services. In addition, the Program Director is responsible for all aspects of service delivery to include, but not limited to:
- Assessment and authorizations;
- Program implementation oversight, supervision and mentoring to a team of QMHPs, RNs, and clinical interns;
- Staff scheduling;
- Budget development and management, outreach and overall quality services;
- Compliance with regional, contractual and licensure requirements.
The Program Director represents CRi at regional CSU meetings, contract jurisdiction meetings and statewide CSU meetings. The Program Director also provides monthly contract compliance activities and documents the program’s metrics. CRi’s CARE program is a leader in the provision of services. The successful applicant will have a vision for continuing CRi’s strong track record and an awareness and experience of how to get the job done on the ground.
Minimum Qualifications Required:
- Licensed Mental Health Professional in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
- Five (5) years of experience in the mental health field and supporting those experiencing crisis.
- One (1) year experience in management and supervision, three (3) years preferred.
- Assessment and diagnostic experience.
