JOB SUMMARY:
LOCATION: STROGER HOSPITAL - CHICAGO, IL. - CRITICAL CARE - CATH LAB - SHIFT: 7:00 AM - 3:15 PM The Clinical Nurse II is a professional care provider who is responsible and accountable for the overall management of patient care on a specific shift as well as maintaining comprehensive knowledge of patients' conditions. They provide safe, effective, and individualized care using the nursing process. Performance of these duties requires skills, effective working relationships, setting priorities and demonstrated knowledge of standard operating policies and procedures. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS - Must be licensed as a Professional Registered Nurse in the State of Illinois
- Must possess a minimum of Five (5) years of nursing experience in an acute care setting
- Current Cardiac Cath Lab or Open Heart Surgery nursing experience within the last Three (3) years
- Must possess an active Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) (Must provide proof at time of interview)
- Must be certified in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) (Must provide proof at time of interview).
- Must be able to take on-call.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from a college or university
- Bilingual in English/Spanish
Any NNOC member who responds and/or accepts this position will waive his/her right to the 60 (sixty) day trial period in accordance with Section 4.4(N) of the CBA as of the date of this posting.
